I love home decor, the problem is that I easily get tired of a look, so I spend my time moving and switching furniture and accents around.

I wanted a console table for my family room but couldn’t find one that I liked for the right price at the furniture stores, so I decided to venture to the thrift store… and there it was.  Just the lines that I was looking for, a solid wood sturdy console.  Not as long as I was hoping for, but for $20 it couldn’t be beat.

I started by cleaning and sanding, I removed the nobs and painted the drawers white and left the rest of the body the same color.  Just added a little contrast and interest to it. I sprayed painted the nobs and covered the inside of the drawers with shelf lining and voila, with less then $ 40 I had a beautiful piece of furniture!
